INDIAN DANCES

 Last Sunday, International Festival of Youngs began in Berceto: after the success of last years, indian girls from Mumbai  came back in Italy. So, girls proposed their show in  San Moderanno Square , shared in two groups: younger and older. Both younger and older girl were very good during their performance, the <Katak>: dressed with typical clothes of Indian tradition, they showed a dance which has origin in gipsy culture. Some stories tell gipsies went in Spain proposed Katak in that land, and mixing with Spanish tradition, gave origin to Flamenco, the most popular dance of European Country. During the nice show, Mayor Luigi Lucchi received, by a citizen of Bowie ( Maryland, Usa), the nomination of honoray citizen of that place. As usual, indian show was introduced by Carlo Devoti. Indians and Devoti, sorry if my English is not so good!
